Laura A. Van Buren
Ms. Van Buren practices in the areas of bad faith and extra-contractual liability, commercial and business litigation, insurance coverage and fraud, and professional liability.
Ms. Van Buren received her law degree from Arizona State University, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Ms. Van Buren served as a judicial extern to Judge Mary H. Murguia on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She was also a Staff Writer and Articles Editor of the Arizona State Law Journal. Additionally, Ms. Van Buren was a research assistant with the Civil Justice Clinic and co-authored several papers with the Public Health Law Research Cluster. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Van Buren received her B.A. in History from Rice University, where she was a National Merit Scholar and named to the President’s Honor Roll.
