Ravi V. Patel


Mr. Patel is an associate with Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, P.L.C., whose practice is focused on employment law, governmental liability, insurance defense, wrongful death and personal injury law and general civil litigation.  Before moving from Texas to Arizona, Mr. Patel worked at an insurance defense law firm where his practice included defending corporations, municipalities, and employers in civil rights and employment matters.  Since 2013, Mr. Patel has been practicing labor and employment law in Arizona, representing clients in Title VII, FMLA, FLSA, ADA and wrongful termination cases.  He has also represented clients in proceedings before the NLRB.   He is admitted to practice in Texas and Arizona, as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Ninth Circuits and the United States District Courts for the Districts of Arizona, the Northern District of Texas and the Western District of Texas.

Mr. Patel is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he was a recipient of the Hon. James L. Noel, Jr., Endowed Scholarship.  While in law school, Mr. Patel served as an Articles Editor of the International Law Review Association, and participated in the IRS Volunteer Return Preparation Program.  Mr. Patel also interned at the Dallas Regional Office of the United States Merit Systems Protection Board, an independent, quasi-judicial agency in the Executive branch that serves as the guardian of Federal merit systems, hearing appeals of employment decisions within the agencies of the Executive Branch.
