Timothy D. Butterfield
Butterfield is an Associate at Jones, Skelton & Hochuli where he focuses
his practice on Professional Liability, Bad Faith & Complex
Litigation. Before attending the
University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, he received his
undergraduate degree from the University of Montana.
While attending law school, Mr.
Butterfield activities include the Arizona Journal of Environmental Law &
Policy, Jessup International Moot Court, Business Law Society, Arizona
Intellectual Property and Cyber Law Society, and was an Arizona Law Delegate. Mr. Butterfield was a recipient of the
Distinguished Scholar Award and Outstanding Performance in Oral Advocacy
Award. He was also Richard Grand Legal
Writing Competition Finalist, and placed first in the 2015 Judge Thomas Tang
Mr. Butterfield worked as a
Summer Associate at Jones, Skelton & Hochuli and was an Liability Claims
Adjuster for GEICO. He also served as an Judicial Extern for the Honorable
David C. Bury, United States District Court, District of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.
In his spare time, Mr. Butterfield enjoys taking
advantage of the beautiful Arizona weather with his wife, son, and two dogs. He
is also an avid bowler and aspiring novelist.
