Edward Hochuli and Donald L. Myles, Jr. to Present at Combined Claims Conference
Edward Hochuli and Donald L. Myles, Jr., partners at Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, P.L.C, will be presenters at the 2010 Combined Claims Conference to be held April 5-6 at the Long Beach Convention Center in California. Ed and Don's presentation, "Negotiations and Settlement Techniques," will be held on Tuesday, April 6.
Ed has been a partner with Jones, Skelton & Hochuli since it was founded in 1983. During that time, he has tried well over 150 civil jury trials to verdict. He concentrates his practice on legal malpractice and professional liability, extra-contractual defense, transportation defense, products liability, premise liability, medical device defense, and personal injury defense, including toxic torts. He is a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and an advocate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is also a Director of the Trucking Industry Defense Association and the USLAW Network. Ed is a 1976 graduate of the University of Arizona College of Law and is admitted to practice in Arizona state and federal courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In his free time, Ed moonlights as a Referee in the National Football League.
Don has been a partner with Jones, Skelton & Hochuli since 1987 and concentrates his practice on insurance coverage, bad faith and professional liability. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Arizona as well as the Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court. Don is the past President of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel (AADC) and the USLAW Network. He is currently Arizona State Representative for the Council on Litigation Management. Don is also the past chair of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel's Professional Liability Committee and its Extra-Contractual/Bad Faith Committee. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), having tried in excess of 45 cases to verdict. He has published articles concerning professional liability, insurance coverage and bad faith, as well as trial practices and procedures. Don has spoken at seminars in California, Texas, Florida, Connecticut, Arizona and Canada regarding litigation related issues, as well as trial practices and procedures.
