Alexix is an associate in the firm’s Transportation, Auto and General Liability Trial Group, focusing his practice in general civil litigation and insurance defense. He represents clients in trucking, personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, contract disputes and construction defect cases. He is experienced in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration and settlement negotiations.
Before joining JSH, Alexix represented general contractors in complex construction defect litigation for residential and commercial projects throughout the Western states.
During law school, Alexix interned at the Office of the Legal Advisor for the Boston Police Department and at Bank of America in the Global Wealth Investment Management Legal Department. Alexix also provided pro bono services as a student attorney for asylum seekers including successfully securing asylum for a Guatemalan minor fleeing abuse and neglect and a Rwandan political refugee.
Alexix is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in French. On his free time, Alexix enjoys hiking, traveling, art and cultural events.
