In partnership with Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C., USLAW NETWORK hosted a recruiting forum in late September. Nearly 60 second- and third-year law students participated in the event, meeting with 16 USLAW member firms and lawyers from throughout the US. During the half-day forum, JSH partner and long-time member of USLAW J. Gary Linder participated in the recruiting event and met with eight exceptional law students.

“It was an honor to visit the school and meet these exceptional law students, especially those who hope to make Arizona their home after graduation,” said Linder. “On behalf of JSH, I amproud to have participated in USLAW’s first-ever recruiting forum, and look forward to expanding our recruiting efforts with opportunities such as this.”

“We had an incredible response from both member firms and Howard University School of Law students for our inaugural recruiting forum,” said Noble F. Allen of Hinckley Allenin Hartford, Connecticut, and chair of USLAW’s Diversity Council. “The law students at Howard University were disciplined, motivated, talented and extremely well prepared for the interviews. We are excited about this inaugural forum and are very appreciative to Howard for providing USLAW with the opportunity to interview these very talented students. It is our hope that the lawyers who conducted the Howard campus interviews will recommend several office call-back interviews which could lead to job offers for some of these exceptional students.”
