JSH transportation partner Clarice Spicker served as a panelist at USLAW NETWORK’s Transportation Industry Summer Legal Forum in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on July 19.

During the presentation, The Post-Vid Plaintiff: The New Variant, Clarice joined a panel of experts to discuss how the current post-COVID-19 social climate has impacted the way in which transportation attorneys evaluate a plaintiff and how a jury may value that information.

The panel discussed several hot topics in transportation, including the pandemic’s effect on a jury’s level of sympathy, the future of lost income claims and drivers’ new role as an “essential worker.”

She was joined on the panel by Charles Baxter, VP Risk Management at United Road; and Tamara Goorevitz, a principal attorney at Franklin & Prokopik.

Clarice Spicker focuses her practice on transportation defense, wrongful death and personal injury, premises liability, and products liability defense. Clarice is a member of the firm’s Rapid Response Team.
