Jones, Skelton & Hochuli is pleased to welcome associate attorney Samantha Herman to its construction defect and general civil litigation defense trial group.

Before joining JSH and after graduating from law school Samantha worked as a law-trained judicial staff member for the Honorable Christopher T. Whitten. She graduated from ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2019. During law school, Samantha worked as a Rule 38 Student Attorney at the Civil Litigation Clinic and as a summer law clerk for a Phoenix-based personal injury law firm. She was elected Vice President of the Law Society for Human Rights and worked as a legal extern at the American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona. During her first and second year of law school, Samantha worked as a legal extern at the City of Phoenix Prosecutor’s Office’s Appeals Bureau and legal intern at the Office of the Secretary of State of Arizona.

A Wisconsin native, Samantha earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science with a Minor in Philosophy from Marquette University. She was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, a National Political Science Honor Society, and the Marquette rowing team. Samantha was a member of the Les Aspin Center Alumni Counsel where she worked for Congresswoman Cheri Bustos of Illinois. She also volunteered with Junior Achievement USA and worked with elementary-aged children in the Milwaukee public school system to enhance financial literacy.
