Matt focuses his practice in the areas of transportation, auto, products and general liability defense. While pursuing his law degree at ASU, Matt served as a Student Ambassador for the Center for Law and Global Affairs, and participated in a humanitarian trip to Panama with the Law Society for Human Rights. During law school, he gained valuable experience in Washington, D.C. working as a legal intern for the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, and as an intern at the Department of State’s Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs (WHA). He also worked as a legal research assistant at ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.
Outside the firm, he enjoys all sports, particularly ping pong, soccer and basketball. Matt is also fluent in Spanish and earned a B.S. in Spanish Linguistics.
Civic & Community Associations
Committed to his giving back to his community, Matt volunteers regularly. He served a two-year mission for the LDS church in North Carolina, working primarily with the Spanish-speaking community. Matt is the founder and active participant of the Nog-a-thon Charity Run, which supports the Feed My Starving Children organization.
