Tyler Miller
Associate Attorney
ArizonaTyler Miller joins our Healthcare Trial Group as a new associate attorney in the Phoenix office. He focuses his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, hospital defense, long-term care, behavioral health, and medical products liability.
In 2024, Tyler earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. While earning his law degree, he served as a staff writer and associate editor for the Arizona State Law Journal. He also authored an article about Arizona’s elimination of peremptory challenges in jury selection. Further, he provided pro bono legal representation to defendants who could not afford an attorney through the Civil Litigation Clinic.
Tyler competed in mock trial for seven years throughout his education. In college, Tyler led the UC Davis Mock Trial Team to the national championship two years in a row. In law school, Tyler co-founded the Trial Team at ASU Law and served as the organization’s Vice-President of Treasury. In 2021, Tyler won the Jenckes Closing Argument Competition against The University of Arizona. He remains active in the mock trial community by regularly volunteering to judge competitions at the regional, state, and national level.
In his free time, Tyler participates in slam poetry competitions, plays recreational softball, and fosters stray kittens.
