Jones, Skelton & Hochuli is pleased to welcome Tristan Brown, Marie Fredenberg, Morgann Kelly, Madison Magiera, Hena Mohiuddin, Kayne Pike, Brody Popham, Wesley Rice, Chris Riewald, and Hayden Young to our 2026 Summer Associate Program. During their summer clerkship at JSH, these law students will work with attorneys in each of the firm’s practice areas, handle research and writing projects, learn about the day-to-day practice of law in the private sector, and observe hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations. Our enhanced summer program this year includes weekly training sessions in substantive areas of law and professional development skills, as well as weekly social events to build rapport.
Tristan Brown received his B.A. summa cum laude in political science, with a double major in film, from Arizona State University. He is currently attending the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU, where he participates in the Jessup International Moot Court. His interests include world history, watching Jeopardy, books about lost expeditions, and playing bass guitar.
Marie Fredenberg also attends Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she has participated in the Environmental Law Society and the Women Law Students. Her undergraduate degree, B.S. magna cum laude in Environmental & Sustainability Studies is from Northern Arizona University. Marie enjoys sustainable gardening, rock climbing, and white water rafting.
Morgann Kelly earned her B.A. summa cum laude in Global Studies, with a minor in Philosophy, from ASU. She was active in undergraduate student government, holding several offices including Student Body President. Morgann recently finished her 2L year at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, serving as the Associate Editor for the Law Journal for Social Justice. Her skills and interests include public speaking, and she is an Internationally Licensed 1st Degree Black Belt in Wado Ryu Martial Arts.
Madison Magiera graduated in just three years from Valparaiso University in Indiana with a B.A. summa cum laude in English, and a minor in Criminology. She had an opportunity to study abroad in Ireland, and was a member of the Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society and the Order of Omega Honor Society. Additionally, Madison was active with the Chi Omega Sorority and Panhellenic Council. During her first two years at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, she has served as Vice President of Student Affairs and an admissions ambassador and belongs to the Women’s Law Student Association. Madison is an avid volunteer and a yoga teacher.
Hena Mohiuddin attends the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she is the Associate Editor of the Corporate and Business Law Journal. Her undergraduate degree, B.A. summa cum laude in Business Law, is from the W.P. Carey School of Business. She was a visitation supervisor with Arizonans for Children, observing court-ordered visits between non-custodial parents and child(ren). Hena likes reading, fashion, and trying new coffee shops.
Kayne Pike, this summer’s lone Wildcat from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, is president of the JAG Vanguard Society and the Federalist Society Designated Director. He graduated from Southern New Hampshire University summa cum laude, with a B.A. in political science, and was a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Kayne is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served from 2013 – 2023. His honors include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Navy Good Conduct Medal, the Armed Forces Service Medal, a Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and the Navy Reserve Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.
Brody Popham received his B.A. summa cum laude in business law with a minor in philosophy, from ASU. At the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, he has represented the 2L class in the Student Bar Association and is a member of the Christian Legal Society and Trial Advocacy Group. For the past year he has been working as an incoming US legal & compliance intern for a semiconductor company. Brody roots for the Phoenix Suns and the Cincinnati Bengals and enjoys listening to music, reading non-fiction self-improvement and philosophy books, and weightlifting.
Wesley Rice graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in criminology/criminal justice and a minor in linguistics. At the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, he is a member of the Health Law Society and the Volunteer Outreach Program. He serves as a non-attorney panelist with the State Bar of Arizona Fee Arbitration Program. Wes’ interests include playing piano and electric bass, creative writing, and reading classical literature.
Chris Riewald earned his B.A. summa cum laude in communications with a minor in public relations from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA, where he graduated in three years. He also has a M.A. in Athletic Administration from Idaho State University. While at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Chris has been a member of the Corporate and Business Law Society and volunteered with the Arizona Legal Center. Prior to law school he worked in high school and college athletics, including coaching the Idaho State University’s Men’s Basketball Team. His interests include leadership & coaching theory and music.
Hayden Young attended the W.P. Carey School of Business at ASU, receiving his B.S. magna cum laude in management & marketing with a concentration in digital and integrated marketing communications. In 2025 he served as a judicial extern for the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County, and he has just completed his 2L year at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. Hayden is an Apple Certified Mac Technician and enjoys Star Trek, Jeopardy, podcats, musicals, classic rock and country-western music, and rescuing stray cats.
