The American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) will be hosting this CLE program. This program brings in the national experts who have performed and analyzed Nobel prize winning research on human and especially court room decision making for over a decade. Attendees will learn about how people, including judges and jurors, think in two different speeds, fast or slow. Long chalked up as mere “irrationality,” social science now reveals a range of different situations, cognitive styles, values, and emotions, that all shape decisions in predictable ways.
