Jones, Skelton & Hochuli is pleased to welcome associate attorney Andi K. Lefor to its Commercial Practice Group, where she focuses her practice in the representation of business owners and employers in commercial litigation and transactional matters.

While pursuing her law degree, Andi worked at the Academy for Justice, researching criminal justice reform, and the Arizona Justice Project, assisting in wrongful conviction cases. She also worked as a judicial extern for Senior Judge Susan Bolton at the U.S. District Court, District of Arizona. At ASU Law, Andi was named Staff Writer of the Year for the Arizona State Law Journal, and she earned CALI Awards, denoting she was the highest scoring student, in nine courses: Civil Procedure, Entertainment Business Contracts, Family Law, Fourteenth Amendment, Jurisprudence, Jury Selection, Policing in Contemporary Communities, Professional Responsibility, and Property.

In addition to her impressive academic achievements, Andi volunteered over 200 hours of pro bono service during her law school career, earning the highest pro bono distinction. She served as a shelter director for the Homeless Legal Assistance Project, ASU Law’s legal outreach program at area homeless shelters. At graduation, she was awarded the Judge Mary M. Schroeder Public Interest Award.

Originally from North Dakota, Andi earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She worked as a legal intern at the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office, and she served as Staff Assistant to North Dakota Senate Majority Leader Rich Wardner during the 2017 legislative session.
