Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, PLC is pleased to welcome Annelise Dominguez to its Auto & General Liability Defense Team, growing the firm to 91 lawyers.

Annelise will focus her practice in civil litigation matters, including insurance defense, premises liability, and automobile liability defense. She joins the firm as a lateral associate with three years of defense litigation experience in the areas of product liability, medical malpractice, construction, breach of contract, wage garnishment, the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Equal Credit Opportunity Act, wrongful death and personal injury, toxic tort, fiduciary duties, negligence, and general commercial litigation in both Arizona state and federal courts. Annelise is also experienced handling appeals, arbitration, Chapter 7 adversary proceedings, and transactional matters, including Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and FINRA.

While pursuing her law degree at ASU’s College of Law, Annelise worked as a judicial extern to the Hon. John C. Gemmill at the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One, as an extern for ASU’s Office of General Counsel, and as a legal intern in the Legal Department of Rural/Metro Corporation. She also completed the Lodestar Mediation Clinic, and served as a mediator in civil cases at the Maricopa County Justice Courts and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Active in her law school community, Annelise served as Senior Article Editor of the Sports & Entertainment Law Journal, the elected 1L Representative to the Student Bar Association, the 3L Representative for the Women Law Students Association, President of the Corporate and Business Law Society, and member of the Arizona Women Lawyers Association and Chicano/Latino Law Students Association.

Graduating from the W.P. Carey School of Business at ASU summa cum laude with a degree in Business Communication and minor in English, Annelise earned a Barrett Honors College Certificate and the Dean’s Award all four years. She served as the Public Relations Officer of the Honors Devils and on the Programming and Activities Board as Vice President at ASU West.
