JSH partner Josh Snell and High-Stakes Communication president Deborah Johnson co-presented a 1-hour CLE, “Mastering Communications with the Insured for a Successful Deposition,” on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 for the EC Defense Network Webinar Series.

Even a well-handled file can result in a deposition. Josh and Deborah’s webinar discussed the skills necessary to build successful conversations and relationships with insureds to achieve the best, most efficient outcome for the insurer and their insureds. They explained how to ask the best questions without being defensive, diagnosed hidden landmines in depositions, and provided three “hacks” to save time when prepping witnesses. In addition, Josh and Deborah gave practical tips to prepare witnesses virtually and overcome related challenges.
