The Committee’s mission is to lead the “development and protection of the ability of long term care providers to deliver, with integrity, responsive health care and other services to their clients in safe and secure environments.” David has been a member of the Committee for 11 years, and frequently presents workshops and writes articles for their educational programming.
For more than 25 years, David has represented every type of healthcare provider in matters involving alleged medical malpractice, violations of the Adult Protective Services Act, wrongful death, and medical battery. He also represents healthcare professionals in matters pending before administrative licensing boards. In his active alternative dispute resolution practice, David mediates tort claims, including those involving medical malpractice, elder abuse, wrongful death and personal injury. Advocating on behalf of Arizona’s nursing home industry, he has served as an expert witness in the passage of several tort reform bills.
The Arizona Health Care Association is the state’s largest professional long term care association and advocacy organization representing skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities. Organized in 1953, AHCA membership includes the majority of licensed, operating nursing care facilities in the state, who together provide continuous nursing care and assisted living services to over 15,000 residents.
