Jones, Skelton & Hochuli is pleased to welcome associate attorney Jonathan Brannon to its Professional Liability, Bad Faith & Complex Litigation Group.

Jonathan focuses his practice in the areas of bad faith and extra-contractual liability, general civil litigation, insurance coverage and third-party liability, professional liability, premises liability and wrongful death and personal injury defense. Before joining JSH and after graduating from law school, he worked as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Philip G. Espinosa at the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division ll, in Tucson.

During law school, Jonathan worked at UofA as a law clerk in the Office of General Counsel and as a legal extern for Global Initiatives – International Faculty and Scholars. He gained in-house legal experience as a summer clerk at a New Mexico law firm and as a legal intern at the Executive Office of Immigration Review in the Department of Justice. A six-time Dean’s List student, Jonathan was awarded the Samuel M. Fegtly Scholarship, earned an Award for Outstanding Performance in Legal Writing, and received the CALI Award for Legal Process, Analysis and Writing. In addition to his academic achievements, Jonathan served as Senior Managing Editor of the Arizona Law Review, V.P. of the Sport & Entertainment Law Society, and Co-Chair of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.

Jonathan earned his undergraduate degree in Italian with a minor in Global Business and Literacy from Brigham Young University. While at BYU, he was a member of the Italian Club and Prelaw Students Association. Jonathan volunteered his time coaching teen athletes in football, basketball, bowling, and track and field with BYU Special Olympics and Spanish Fork Parks and Recreation.
