Jones, Skelton & Hochuli is pleased to welcome Jaron Chavez, Hee Jae Lee, Shae Nagy, Haley Norling, and Brayden Ruvo to to our 2025 Summer Associate Program. During their summer clerkship at JSH, these law students will work with attorneys in each of the firm’s practice areas, handle research and writing projects, learn about the day-to-day practice of law in the private sector, and observe hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.

Jaron Chavez (ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law) recently finished his 2L year as an O’Connor Merit Scholar and recipient of the Outstanding Oral Advocate Award in Legal Advocacy. Jaron is a member of the Chicano Latino Law Students Association and the St. Thomas More Law Student Society. He received his undergraduate degrees in English and Intercultural Communication, graduating summa cum laude from the University of New Mexico, where he made the Dean’s list all four years, and was the President of the UNM Pre-Law Society.
Jaron’s previous legal experience includes assisting at firms in Arizona and New Mexico, drafting demand letters, complaints and police report summaries, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing medical records. He also has specific paralegal training.

Hee Jae Lee (ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law) serves as a Note and Comment Editor for the Corporate and Business Law Journal and is an O’Connor Merit Scholar. He earned his undergraduate degree in Technology Management from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea.
Born in Korea, Hee Jae was raised in Russia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. He returned to Korea for university and military service. He was commissioned as a First Lieutenant in the Republic of Korea Army and served as a deputy commander of a mortar company.
Hee Jae has gained legal experience through internships with both a health insurance company and the City of Phoenix Law Department, where he conducted legal research and reviewed case files.
In his free time, he enjoys reading, exercising, and watching movies.

Shae Nagy (ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law) serves as the Associate Editor for Jurimetrics: ABA Journal of Law/Science/Technology. Her undergraduate degree in Political Science is from the University of Calgary.
Shae was previously an extern at the Tempe Municipal Court, researching and preparing memoranda on issues of constitutional law, including the First Amendment overbreadth doctrine.
Shae enjoys the watching hockey, long distance walking, and writing fiction.

Haley Norling (University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law) writes for the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law and is a member of the Law Women’s Association. Her undergraduate degree in Business Economics is also from the University of Arizona, where she graduated magna cum laude and was part of the Greek system.
Haley has previously worked as a summer law clerk here in the Valley, conducting research, drafting memoranda, motions and other legal documents, and reviewing medical records and police reports.
Haley’s interests include hiking, traveling, reading, and spin classes.

Brayden Ruvo (ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law) is a member of the ASU Corporate and Business Law Society and a Staff Writer for the Arizona State Law Journal. His undergraduate degree in Accounting is from Central Washington University, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and served as the Treasurer of the Mock Trial Group.
Brayden’s previous experience includes working as a Legal Intern for the Fraud and Special Prosecutions Section of the AZ Attorney General’s Office, and as an accountant for a resort in Washington State.
Brayden enjoys playing basketball and trivia games, as well as watching Olympic weightlifting, MLB (Seattle Mariners) and NBA (Phoenix Suns) games. He is a volunteer coach for the Special Olympics.
