Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, PLC is pleased to welcome associate Michael C. Stone to our Construction Defect Group. He represents construction companies, contractors, subcontractors and design professionals.

Before joining JSH, Michael served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Jennifer B. Campbell at the Arizona Court of Appeals. During this time, he gained compelling experience composing research-based decisions, reviewing trial court records, and the analysis of briefings and oral arguments. He orally presented and distilled findings for the judicial panel at weekly conferences. He gained experience as a law clerk at several Commercial Litigation firms. Michael also was a Legal Intern in the Office of General Counsel at the Arizona Coyotes Hockey Club. His experience in the legal athletics industry also included being a Legal Extern at Arizona State University Athletics Department of Compliance.

While earning his law degree and graduating on the Dean’s List at Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, he had his writing published in the Southern University Law Review. He was also the Editor of the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. His activities included serving as Vice President of the Sports Law and Business Program and a Teaching Assistant for his Professional Responsibility/Legal Ethics class.

Michael earned a double major undergraduate degree, from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
