The theme of the 2019 Convention is “The Power of Inclusion,” and will feature a special Diversity & Inclusion Programming section, comprising 11 seminars and a plenary session celebrating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment. Seminar topics include: Understanding Implicit Bias, Microaggression in the Legal Profession, Firsts for Women in Arizona, ICWA Law Update, Disability Rights & Discrimination, and a Centennial Celebration of the Nineteenth Amendment.

The firm is proud to be a sponsor of this exceptional Programming. We believe that diverse backgrounds and viewpoints enrich our workplace and promote an environment where everyone can achieve their full potential. Diversity and inclusion is an integral component of our continuing pursuit of excellence – both as individual attorneys and as a firm. Lawyers and staff from diverse backgrounds and lifestyles have a consistent voice at all levels of JSH firm management, including within our Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

In addition, the Convention offers 50+ CLE seminars, and five JSH attorneys will serve as panel presenters in four sessions. During the Friday Luncheon, JSH attorneys Mel McDonald & Russ Skelton will be honored in recognition of their significant contributions to the law throughout their 50 years of practice.
