Jones, Skelton & Hochuli is pleased to welcome associate attorney Christie Geter to its Albuquerque, New Mexico office. Christie joins the firm’s Transportation, Auto, Products & General Liability Defense Trial Group.

Christie has successfully argued complex cases at court hearings, including toxic tort cases, and those involving the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act and the Wrongful Death Act.

Prior to joining the firm, Christie worked at a local insurance defense firm where she represented clients in coverage and bad faith, construction defect, personal injury, property damage, and workers’ compensation cases. Christie also worked as an assistant trial attorney for the Office of the Second Judicial District Attorney in New Mexico.

Christie earned her law degree from the University of Minnesota, where she served as Managing Director for the Civil Rights/Civil Liberties Moot Court, staff member on Law and Inequality: A Journal of Theory and Practice, team member on the ABA Moot Court Competition Team, and member of the Women’s Law Student Association. She received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in Cinematic Arts from the University of New Mexico.
