Partners Michele Molinario and Joe Popolizio will be presenting “Police Action: Media Portrayal, Law and Reality,” at the Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA) 2018 Annual Conference. Their presentation is an insightful overview of the impact that the media has had on law enforcement policy and practice. This session will examine the media’s portrayal of high profile police incidents and its impact on the pursuit of police reform and the movement to transform policy. This session will also focus on how to defend law enforcement in the age of intense media scrutiny.
