The Legal Staff Development Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of legal staff/support staff operations. This role oversees the supervision of legal assistants, including hiring, performance evaluations, and terminations. This position also oversees, supervises, and works closely with the Paralegal Manager, Legal Support Manager, and Back-Up Team Coordinator to ensure seamless collaboration. Candidates must have 3+ years of law firm experience, preferably in a staff management position. This position requires familiarity with law firm protocols, strong written and verbal skills, the ability to provide great attention to detail, exemplify professionalism, value confidentiality, with demonstrated leadership, and organizational skills. There will be expectations of travel to all JSH office locations. Candidates must be highly motivated and have a stable work history, exceptional communication, and the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.

Jones Skelton & Hochuli is growing, and we are seeking an Attorney Development Manager, to join our team. The Attorney Development Manager will work closely with the Executive Director, Accounting Department, Attorney Recruiting Manager and Human Resources Department in all attorney processes and is primarily responsible for supporting associate and Income Partner staffing, utilization, integration and development.

Jones Skelton & Hochuli is growing, and we are seeking an Attorney Recruiting Assistant to join our team in our Arizona office. The Attorney Recruiting Assistant will report to the Attorney Recruiting Manager, and work closely with attorneys, candidates, and firm leadership. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one to three years of recruiting experience in a mid-to-large law firm setting, a passion for the legal field, including recruiting and hiring, a stable work history in a law firm environment, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and stellar attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Attorney Recruiting Manager and Human Resources team with coordinating associate onboarding and integration activities, including preparing orientation materials and helping organize new hire schedules
- Provide administrative support for the Firm’s associate mentorship program, including maintaining mentor assignments, coordinating updates from the Recruiting Committee, and assisting with the preparation of training materials and guidelines
- Support the on‑campus recruiting process by assembling recruiting materials, scheduling callback interviews, tracking follow‑up with attorneys, and helping facilitate clear and timely communication with candidates
- Coordinate in-person or virtual interview schedules and gather feedback on prospective candidates
- Draft and update job postings, review and process resumes in the applicant tracking system (UKG), and generate reports as necessary
- Manage and update applicant databases and prepare offer letters
- Network and partner with law school career services to reach law students
- Coordinate with the Attorney Recruiting Manager, Trial Group Leaders, and other supervising partners to identify staffing needs and hiring targets; partner with the Attorney Recruiting Manager to ensure hiring efforts are supporting the goals and needs of the firm
- Collaborate with HR/Wellness teams to promote the wellness of associates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Recruiting, Business, Organization Development, or a related field preferred
- 1 or more years of experience in Recruiting, Business, Organization Development, or related field – ideally within a legal or professional services environment
- Computer Skills, including knowledge of accessing websites and working in Microsoft Office Suite applications, experience with UKG Recruiting, iManage, LMS+, and other law firm software applications a plus
