Alex Kondar is an associate attorney in the firm’s Utah office, where he focuses his practice on insurance defense and general civil litigation. He represents insurers and insureds in a wide range of matters, including construction defect claims, employment claims, premises liability, medical malpractice, and motor vehicle accidents.

Before joining the firm, Alex practiced at a mid-sized insurance defense law firm in Salt Lake City, where he managed an active caseload and handled all phases of litigation, including written discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and court hearings. He regularly drafted pleadings, motions, and case evaluations, and worked closely with clients and partners to develop effective litigation strategies.

Alex earned his Juris Doctor from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where he was an O’Connor Fellow, a Leo and Annette Beus Top Scholar, and received Pro Bono Distinction. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, magna cum laude, from York University in Toronto. Alex is admitted to practice in Utah state and federal courts.

In his spare time, Alex enjoys listening to a diverse palate of music, travelling, and going on scenic hikes.
