Anton Sorkin is part of the Healthcare Trial Group in our Phoenix office. He joined the firm following a clerkship with the Honorable James B. Morse Jr. at the Arizona Court of Appeals. During his clerkship, he researched and drafted decisions in complex cases, including medical malpractice and product liability.

Anton received his undergraduate degree in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business, and his J.D. from the ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law with a certificate in Trial Advocacy and Pro Bono Distinction. While in law school, he served as the Executive Note and Comment Editor for the Corporate and Business Law Journal and received the CALI award (highest mark in the class) for White Collar Crime.

Prior to law school, Anton worked in banking and consulting in New York. He covered sectors including physician practice acquisition, medical devices, and EMR/EHR systems. During law school, he was a judicial extern to the Honorable Gregory Como at the Maricopa County Superior Court and a Rule 39 extern with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. At the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, he made appearances on behalf of the State and was on the prosecution team of an 18-day jury trial. He also spent time at CopperPoint Insurance Companies, where he was involved in claims investigations, litigation, and mediations throughout the 9th Circuit.

Anton is passionate about aviation, national parks, attempting new recipes from around the world, and is fluent in Russian.
