Chase MacKay is a member of our General Liability Trial Group, defending clients in the areas of trucking and transportation, premises liability, product liability, personal injury, and other general liability matters.

Prior to joining JSH, Chase served as a Law Clerk assisting with plaintiff-side labor and employment law services.

In law school, Chase worked as a Research Assistant focusing on First Amendment speech protections in traditional public forums, and he also worked as a Rule 39(c) Certified Limited Practice Student at ASU’s First Amendment Clinic. In this role, he helped write an amicus curiae brief defending the constitutional rights of news and media organizations in a case before the Arizona Supreme Court. He was a member of the Chicano/Latino Law Students Association and the Senior Article Editor of the Sports & Entertainment Law Journal. Chase attended Boston University, where he received his BA in Political Science and was the President of Sigma Phi Epsilon.

In his spare time, Chase enjoys spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys playing sports, supporting all of Arizona’s sports teams, and traveling, most recently visiting Croatia.
