ArizonaAs a member of the firm’s Construction Trial Group, Chris Pierce focuses his practice in the areas of construction defect litigation and general civil liability defense including products liability, premises liability and personal injury litigation. He is committed to providing clients with prompt and thorough case evaluations, delivering effective litigation defense strategies, and posturing cases for early resolution opportunities.
During his free time, Christopher can be found exploring Arizona’s many hiking and camping destinations.
- Arizona Court of Appeals affirmed summary judgment in favor of client and held that homeowners may not sue subcontractors directly for breach of implied warranty of workmanship and habitability absent privity of contract. Yanni v. Tucker Plumbing, 233 Ariz. 364, 312 P.3d 1130 (Ariz. App. 2013)
- Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed summary judgment in favor of client on a multi-million dollar contract dispute. Museum Associates v. Kailasa Enterprises, 2013 WL 6212148 (9th Cir. 2013) (unreported)
