As a certified legal nurse consultant with nearly 30 years of experience, Heidi Carter assists attorneys and paralegals with medical-related aspects of discovery, depositions, settlement conferences, and trials. Heidi organizes, reviews and summarizes medical records, and prepares medical record chronologies. She also locates and evaluates expert witnesses, sends packages to experts for review, and identifies relevant standards of care, causation issues, and damages. Before becoming a legal nurse consultant, Heidi worked for 8 years as a staff nurse in Critical Care Units and Emergency Departments in Phoenix and Tucson. Heidi is a member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC).

A Phoenix native, Heidi enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family, friends and her pets.
