Jaron Chavez is an Associate Attorney in JSH’s Municipal and Employment Trial Group.

Before joining the firm as a Summer Associate in 2025, Jaron was a Law Clerk where he drafted demand letters and complaints, assisted with witness interviews and client intakes, reviewed medical records, drafted medical chronologies, and conducted legal research. During law school, Jaron also worked in criminal law, assisting with research and motion drafting in a felony trial group. He also previously worked as a Legal Assistant where he assisted with Municipal and Employment matters, as well as a portion of the Class Action Opioid Litigation in New Mexico.

Jaron earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he was awarded as an Outstanding Oral Advocate. He earned bachelor’s degrees in English and Intercultural Communication, summa cum laude, from the University of New Mexico. While at UNM, he served as President of the Pre-Law Society and was named to the Dean’s List in all eight of his semesters.

In his free time, Jaron spends as much time as he can with his family, lifts weights, and roots for the Red Sox.
