Jack Klecan has more than 45 years of experience focusing his practice on bad faith and extra-contractual liablity, medical liability and health care, product liability defense, professional liability, transportation defense and wrongful death and personal injury defense. He is committed to defending clients from a range of industries including insurance, healthcare, hospitality, and transportation.

Jack has handled hundreds of important verdicts in Arizona and New Mexico. He has served as lead counsel in more than 250 jury trials involving product liability, legal malpractice, medical malpractice, professional liability and personal injury cases. On behalf of a Country Club in eastern New Mexico, Jack successfully handled a $1-million subrogation recovery for an insurer in a botulism poisoning case involving canned goods.

  • Richter v. Van Amberg, 97 F.Supp.2d 1255, (D, NM 2000), attorney duties regarding partnership
  • Matter of Will of Coe, 113 N.M. 355 (1992), widow sued estate lawyer and contested deceased husband’s will, decision upheld on appeal

  • Gee v. Roach, obtained judgment for defendant in defamation case
  • Sanchez v. Dell, obtained defense verdict in medical malpractice case for radiologist
  • Hernandez v. Zurich Insurance, co-counsel, obtained defense verdict in bad faith case for insurer
