Rita Bustos has just joined our Appellate Group, bringing 15 years of experience working with medical malpractice and other clients, as well as extensive appellate work in this area.

While earning her LL.M. in Biotechnology and Genomics at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, she served as the Senior Associate at their Innovation Advancement Legal Program, providing counsel to various tech companies for issues related to trademark protection, company and website policies and procedures, and non-disclosure agreements. Rita received her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in Jamaica, New York, and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Sociology from the State University of New York at Binghamton. She is licensed in both Arizona and New York.

In her free time, Rita enjoys movies, singing, and swimming.
