Stephanie Ireland has joined our General Litigation & Construction Trial Group as a partner in the Arizona office. She has been Certified by the State Bar of Arizona as a specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death since 2009.   Stephanie has extensive litigation experience with demonstrated success in securing favorable verdicts and settlements for her clients.

Over the course of her 28-year career as an attorney, Stephanie has served as lead counsel in 67 jury trials, including more than 50 civil jury trials, where she successfully defended insureds against personal injury claims, securing 27 defense verdicts.

Before joining JSH, Stephanie served as staff counsel for a leading insurance carrier as a senior-level trial attorney. In this role, she defended insurers and their insureds in cases involving auto liability and premises liability, UM/UIM claims, and personal injury and wrongful death claims. Her experience also includes representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters at local law firms and starting and leading a staff counsel office for a Florida insurance carrier.  Stephanie also served as a prosecutor for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office after graduating from law school in 1997 where she led as first chair in ten felony jury trials and several misdemeanor jury and bench trials.

Stephanie earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law where she actively participated in Moot Court and achieved success in both the Winter’s and Jessup International Law Competitions. She received her undergraduate degree in political science from Arizona State University, where she interned with the Arizona State Senate.

Stephanie is an Arizona native and enjoys spending time with her family and maintaining an active lifestyle. She regularly spends time outdoors hiking, jogging, and practicing yoga.
