Tian Yue (Tianyue) Ma joins our Transportation Trial Group in the Phoenix office, where she will be assisting our clients with trucking and transportation matters, as well as general liability, and wrongful death claims.

Tianyue earned her law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. She served as a 3L representative of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and an Associate Editor of the Corporate and Business Law Journal. She was also a Rule 39 Certified Student Practitioner for the Innovative Advancement Clinic, where she provided legal assistance to local start-up businesses. Her undergraduate B.A. in Criminology and Sociolegal Studies is from the University of Toronto.

While in law school, Tianyue interned at local criminal defense firms where she honed her skills in research, motion drafting, memoranda drafting, and other litigation skills. Following graduation, she decided to take her litigation skills and pivot into civil litigation. She was introduced to insurance defense work, and was focused on personal injury and construction defect cases before coming to JSH.

Tianyue speaks fluent Mandarin. During her free time, she enjoys exploring restaurants and eateries, and she is a Bob’s Burgers Enthusiast.
