Vicky Zeidell has almost 40 years of clinical nursing and legal nurse consultant experience. For more than 20 years, she has worked as a legal nurse consultant for Arizona health care defense law firms, focusing in the areas of medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, product liability, and corrections.

Serving as a liaison between attorneys, physicians and clients, Vicky provides detailed case analysis on the medical facts and issues relating to a case or a claim. Her extensive contributions to the health care defense team include: determining  which medical records, specimens, X-rays and other data are pertinent to the case;  identifying in which areas expert witnesses are required and researching qualified experts; preparing Rule 26.1 Disclosure Statements; interviewing employees, witnesses and jurors; preparing medical summaries, timeline of events and correlate to the allegations; developing collaborative case strategies with the legal team; obtaining and summarizing  timely opinions of experts to support the defense case; screening records for omissions, missing pages and other methods of tampering; and summarizing depositions.

Before beginning her career as a legal nurse consultant, Vicky worked for 12 years as the Director of Nursing for a large regional medical center in Arizona. She also worked as a performance improvement coordinator, system coordinator for information services, and nursing clinical systems manager. Her in-depth clinical experience includes neurology, neurosurgery, neuro intensive care unit, psychiatric, medical, cardiac catheterizations, i-131 radiation therapy, gastroenterology, endocrinology and renal.
