Yanneli Llamas joins our Arizona office, where she will work with our partners handling transportation, auto, products and general liability matters.

Prior to joining JSH, Yanneli worked as a law clerk at Division One of the Arizona Court of Appeals, as well as the Arizona Supreme Court. She clerked for Judge Samuel A. Thumma before joining Justice Maria Elena Cruz in her first term at the Arizona Supreme Court.

Yanneli earned her J.D. at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, graduating in 2023 with the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Performance. While in law school, Yanneli was a member of the Law Journal for Social Justice, where she earned recognition as the 2023 Articles Editor of the Year. She also took advantage of multiple opportunities such as mentoring first generation law students, serving as a teaching assistant for first year Torts classes, and working with the Federal Public Defender’s Office. Prior to law school, Yanneli graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Criminal Justice, a B.A. in English, and a minor in Brookings Public Policy from the Las Vegas Honors College at the University of Nevada.

In her spare time, Yanneli enjoys traveling, trying to keep her plants alive, and getting everybody on the dance floor.
