Jones, Skelton & Hochuli is pleased to welcome associate attorney Riley J. Busby to its Transportation, Auto, Products & General Liability Defense Trial Group. Working out of the firm’s Albuquerque office, he focuses his practice primarily in the areas of trucking and transportation, product liability, and personal injury defense. He represents clients against various litigation claims, including employment, general liability, civil rights, and bad faith insurance litigation.

Before joining JSH, Riley worked for two years as an associate attorney for a civil litigation law firm based in Albuquerque. There, he handled a wide range of work including commercial litigation, personal injury, construction law, general negligence, medical malpractice, and insurance law.

Riley earned his legal degree from the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law. While there, he served on the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law editorial board and was a member of the Student Bar Association and J. Reuben Clark Law Society. He earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Brigham Young University, where he was the activities committee co-chair of the Brigham Young University Student Service Association and an editor of the Pre-Law Review. Riley was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar in 2019. He is also proficient in written and spoken Spanish.
