Jones, Skelton & Hochuli is pleased to announce that Thomas Grimes has passed his bar exam. Thomas joined the firm as a law clerk in March and works in our Transportation, Auto, Products and General Liability Trial Group. We are pleased he chose JSH to begin his law practice.

Thomas worked at JSH as a summer associate and graduated from law school December 2020. He earned dual degrees from ASU: J.D. at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law; and M.B.A at the W.P. Carey School of Business. He participated in the Jenckes Moot Court Competition, was an Associate Editor of Jurimetrics, The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology, and elected V.P. of Finance for the Student Bar Association. In addition to his summer clerkship at JSH, Thomas worked as a legal intern at PING Golf, focusing primarily in the areas of intellectual property and patent law.

After graduating from the University of California – Los Angeles with a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations, Thomas worked for four years at a worldwide energy company and was accepted into their drilling rig manager fast-track program. He earned his Paralegal Certificate at the University of San Diego and worked as a litigation paralegal at two San Diego law firms.
