Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, PLC is pleased to welcome associate attorney Nathan Stuart.

Nate focuses his practice in matters involving product liability, insurance bad faith, UM/UIM issues, catastrophic injury, breach of contract, commercial litigation, construction defect, and professional liability. He has successfully defended applications for injunctive relief and represented clients on appeal. Before joining JSH, Nate gained significant defense experience in all phases of complex commercial litigation and insurance defense, including motion practice, written discovery and depositions. He also handled several cases involving permit applications for cannabis dispensaries with the state

Born and raised in Iowa, Nate earned his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, becoming the sixth generation of his family to practice law. During law school, he served as an extern for Chief Magistrate Judge Celeste F. Bremer at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa and volunteered with the Innocence Project of Iowa. Nate also attended ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law as a visiting student and was a member of ASU College of Law Rainmakers a mentoring program with practicing attorneys. Nate graduated from law school a semester early and was admitted to the Arizona Bar in 2015.

After graduating from the University of Iowa Henry B. Tippie School of Business, Nate relocated to Arizona to work with a leading global provider of in-demand, skilled professionals in the growing technology, life sciences, and creative sectors.
