Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, PLC is pleased to announce it has welcomed Paul G. Davis, Michael R. Shumway, and Sara N. Tulane as associate attorneys in its Phoenix office.

Meet each of the firm’s newest associate attorneys below.

Paul G. Davis
Paul focuses his practice primarily in the area of trucking and transportation defense. He also has experience handling complex commercial litigation cases. Prior to joining the firm, Paul gained experience handling various business law matters, including drafting contracts and counseling clients on legal risk and strategy regarding corporate and commercial transactions.

He earned his law degree from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and his undergraduate degree in political science, with minors in German and international studies, from Truman State University.

Michael R. Shumway
Michael is an experienced appellate attorney with a particular focus on transportation defense. Prior to joining the firm, he served as the appellate section chief for the Navajo County Attorney’s Office, where he handled all appeals and petitions for post-conviction relief.

He earned both his law degree and his undergraduate degree in psychology, with minors in thematic business and Spanish, from the University of Arizona.

Sara N. Tulane
Sara is a persuasive litigator who uses her experience as a former deputy county attorney to represent clients in municipal and employment issues. She has experience handling jury and bench trials, evidentiary hearings, restitution hearings, and other felony and misdemeanor hearings.

She earned her law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law and her undergraduate degree in history from California State University, Sacramento.
