Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, PLC is pleased to announce Kevin E. Geyer and Blake A. Hallock have joined the firm as associate attorneys in the growing Salt Lake City office.
Kevin will handle a variety of general liability matters, including those in the automobile and general liability insurance industries. He has experience representing insurance companies, their agents, and their insureds in various stages of litigation for insurance claims. He regularly negotiates with peer and opposing insurance companies and medical providers for settlement of various insurance claims and liens.
He earned his law degree from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and his undergraduate degree in justice studies from Westminster College.
Blake joins the firm as a member of its Transportation, Auto, Products & General Liability Defense Trial Group, where he will defend clients facing professional malpractice, construction defect, trucking and transportation liability, and employment discrimination.
With a deep understanding of civil litigation, Blake also has experience negotiating settlements – both directly and through mediation – and drafting mediation position statements, releases, waivers, and settlement agreements. He has experience authoring briefs and presenting oral arguments in Utah’s federal district court.
He earned both his law degree and his undergraduate degree in philosophy from Brigham Young University.
